Why I Canceled My Subscription Box

Why I Canceled My Subscription Box

I’ve always loved the sentiment behind subscription boxes: a box full of hand-curated items you’re guaranteed to love, delivered right to your doorstep every month. It sounds like a dream! But recently I made the decision to cancel the subscription box I was currently using and to end my time with subscription boxes in general. This ultimately inspired me to have a conversation about subscription boxes, and I think it’s one that would be really interesting to have. So let’s have a conversation!

July Wrap-Up

July Wrap-Up

Hi bookworms!

I know, I know, this monthly wrap-up is terribly late, as we’re already five days into August. Seriously, how is that possible!? This summer has completely flown by. But here we are again, ready to talk about the books I read in the month of July. It didn’t don on me until I started writing this post just how many books I read this month… which is awesome! June+Pride Month Wrap-Up!

pridemonth

Hello bookish friends!

It’s been quite a month. June was Pride Month, which means a month-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in the form of parades, film, books, and more. Many in the book community—including myself—also chose this month to read books exclusively centered around queer characters and/or storylines, or books written by queer authors. There were a lot of books on my Pride Month TBR that I was really eager to read this month, and I’m happy to be able to say that I got through all of them and more! I’m so excited to talk all about all the wonderful queer books, so let’s go ahead and dive into my June/Pride Month Wrap-Up!

Hi everyone! It’s time for another… OwlCrate unboxing!

Since this is the June box, OwlCrate has been leaving little hints of what’s to be expected from their ultra summer-inspired Summer Lovin’ box and I have been so, SO anxiously waiting in anticipation! Summer is personally one of my favorite seasons and there’s so much to love about it, so I knew that OwlCrate had some great things up their sleeve this month… plus a summery YA contemporary book pick to boot!

Without further ado then, let’s get into what was in this month’s box…
